Joining the
LUTON CONCERT ORCHESTRA
The Orchestra is always looking for new players, especially those of stringed instruments. New members are not auditioned, but it is helpful if players are at least of Grade 5 standard.
The Orchestra presents two main concerts each year – usually in April/May and early October. There are five Friday evening rehearsals before each concert with a further rehearsal on the afternoon of the concert. The Orchestra also puts on a charity Christmas concert in December for which there one or two Friday evening rehearsals. Rehearsals are held in the Luton/Dunstable area.
Subscriptions are kept as low as possible and are half price for concessions.
